Maybe you shouldn't say the first thing that comes to mind.

I'm getting ready for the Indie Banditas Bazaar next Friday and Saturday June 5th and 6th. I have my purchase bags and boxes all ready and looking swell with their fancy stamps. I went with pink gourmet food bags and kraft boxes. Thank you Paper Mart! I highly recommend these purchases that one might think sort of boring, who really wants to spend money on boxes and bags when I'd rather buy fun stuff like brushes and paints? But the satisfaction of opening that box and straight away testing out the stamp and seeing how FANTASTIC they look, I'm hooked on the details. I was praying that the bag paper was not waxy and wouldn't take the ink, fears be squelched, they absorb. Pics to come, I'm way too tired to and it's dark to bust out some photos. This part-time job (which sneakily turned into a full-time job because of my fear of poverty) is proving to be a challenge for my right-brained self. Right-brain does not love waking up at 6am, no no.

I walked into Walgreens today, a man looked at me and said "You look so tired today", thank you stranger for pointing that out.

We are plagued by a neighbors barking dog. That barking is making me more of a cat person every day.

Houses and a Garden to Match

Working on some new business cards. One of many things to get done before the Indie Banditas Bazaar...Yay.

I'm way too gung ho on getting my vegetable garden in during this beautiful Portland weather, that I can't be bothered with the computer all that much these days. By gung ho, I basically mean OBSESSED.

Holy Moly

Yep, I dropped off the face of the internet. Seriously folks, I can't even count the times I've been on the computer in the last few weeks on two hands. I do this a couple times a year, a purging of sorts, that actually makes me realize how much I enjoy not being on the computer. The downside to this is numerous emails, online errands and projects that get left behind and leave you with this "I must get to that soon or I'm a terrible person feeling".

I had parents in town, sent my computer off to Apple Care (my laptop looks brand new), started a vegetable garden, I've been working insanely early hours at my part-time job which has been full time hours these past few weeks, which makes me come home in need of a beer and ample television time. I adore and appreciate weekends again.

Lots of new things on the horizon. My husband has started a web design business which I will be taking part in, more on this once things are in place online, I'm doing my first craft fair in 1 month. Indie Banditas Bazaar on Bainbridge Island, WA, June 5 and 6th.
I'll be playing a concert one of the nights in the chapel. craftyFOLK by day, musician by night! Awesome. More info on this to come.

P.s. Jacob just suggested we go pick up some hoes and work in the garden today. What a chap:)
