Getting a NERDY hold on life and art

This weekend I've gotten back into the Getting Things Done saddle. This is a real life changing experience and a therapy of sorts for people who walk around feeling overwhelmed with all these ideas (both grandiose and small) in their head. This is me completely. Even ideas and goals turn into mental baggage if not tended to properly. This mental baggage blocks my creativity and productivity in a multitude of ways. Since I am one person with many hats to wear as an artistic business owner, I need a way to process my evolving To Do list of life. Then, I can be more productive, losing the guilt, remorse, etc of not feeling like I'm doing ENOUGH. I'm sure a lot of you can relate. I use the program Things and I'd love to hear some comments of anyone else using the same or similar system.

My initial brainstorming list of things I needed to get out of my head and into a tangible form was a whopping 152 items long. Needless to say, I feel better.

Later Gators,
Sarah

A New Part of the Shop...Journals, Yahoo.

Finally something new to peruse. These are up in the shop as of now. I'm smitten with the functionality and uniqueness of the journals. Each one is an original sealed with varnish to withstand throwing in your bag. Would be a great gift I tell you, for yourself or someone else.

I haven't been very talkative lately, but I've been a little mountain of ideas for sure. I took part in a wonderful craft show a few weeks ago and have another in a few weeks (more on that later), so lots to do.

I do have quite a bit of items to add to the shop, new porcelain pieces and some laser cut brooches. So, more soon, I promise.
